My drive of 1 hour plus to the location for my treatment was worth it both time and money. The place is crispy clean and welcoming. Front office staff, Ms. Emily, Katie and Dr. Chu are awesome. I’ve been going here for several years for all my dental needs. The whole team is amazing - the front staff (Emily is so helpful!), the wonderful hygienist team, and Dr. Rania and the other dentists. All are incredible professionals. This is the best dental practice in the DMV!

What we all want in searching for a dental practice is excellent and caring dental care. No one really enjoys having dental work done but when we know that the dentists are not only top notch but also ethical and prescribe only what is needed. The supporting staff is not only efficient but also super nice and patient. Both Emily and Chelsea fall into this category.

Such a great experience! I had my cleaning done with the Air Polisher and it was honestly amazing. My teeth felt so clean and smooth afterward! Joy and Ana were super sweet and welcoming, and Dr. Rania was wonderful too. Everyone was so nice and made me feel really comfortable. Definitely recommend this office! 💯

The front office staff not only took the time to hear my concern but immediately got me in and ensured I was seen before the long weekend. Dr Chou is a miracle worker! I came in with a very unhealthy mouth asking for a second opinion (quote) for Invisalign. Dr Chou took the time to explain why Invisalign would be a waste of my money. She literally talked me out of an easy sale because she cared more about the health of my mouth than apparently even I did. We spent the next 6 months working on correcting my bad habits and repairing/replacing old fillings and crowns that the Invisalign would have likely knocked loose when moving my teeth. Now, after a very rigorous Invisalign treatment, I have a healthy mouth, whiter teeth, and couldn’t be happier with my straight teeth. Look at my profile, I never submit reviews for anything. I had to submit this one because I can’t stop smiling and grinning at every reflective surface I walk past. Also, the staff at this women-owned, women-operated office is just as amazing as Dr Chou. Led by Emily at the front desk, you can’t find a better and friendlier dental office. It’s concierge service without the concierge price. I almost forgot to mention, I got a whole new mouth for less than the other place would have charged for just the Invisalign trays. I cannot recommend McClean Family Dentistry high enough.

Dr. Shawdi Assar is an exceptionally thorough and detail-oriented dentist. She takes the time to explain every treatment plan with immense patience, ensuring you feel completely comfortable and informed. I received a recommendation to see her, and I am so glad I did!

I live in Baltimore but was visiting family in this area and needed emergent dental care and was able to easily make an appointment on their website and saw Dr Assar and Eda. I had a wonderful and calming experience and felt like they truly cared to help me through my predicament. I truly needed help and an honest assessment and feel satisfied I received quality care. I’ve had a great experience with the McLean Family Dentistry team! My hygienist, Bre, patiently and thoroughly answers my questions and walks me through each procedure in addition to all home care instructions.

I thought the care was excellent. They were very attentive and anxious for me to feel comfortable. The office staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this office
